Providing emergency relief

People whose lives are threatened and shattered by disasters or conflicts require immediate and hope-sustaining help. In responding to humanitarian emergencies, World Vision acts quickly to protect vulnerable people, and provide critical relief items such as food, water, shelter, medicine and clothing.

We also emphasise local preparedness in local, national and international that are prone to emergencies, while aiding the long-term recovery of communities affected by natural disasters or conflict. In cases of conflict, we promote reconciliation as a way of achieving peace.
